Grace Vargas

Wife, mother, student and

birth worker

Hi, I'm Grace a passionate and nurturing doula-in-training, dedicated to supporting families through one of the most transformative times in their lives.

My journey into birth work began with my own experience as a mother of four. Each of my births and postpartum periods was unique — and each one helped shape the kind of doula I am becoming.

In my own birth journeys, I’ve experienced a failed induction to unplanned cesarean, a successful VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean), and later a planned cesarean. As well as having one of my babies spend time in the NICU. I know firsthand how birth can surprise us, test us, and transform us — and how the postpartum season can bring both joy and overwhelm. Because of this, I bring not only professional training, but also deep empathy and lived experience into every home I support. I believe this helps me connect more authentically with each client, no matter what their journey looks like.

In addition to my own motherhood journey, I have over 10 years of hands-on childcare experience, working with children of all ages. I am also CPR and First Aid certified, ensuring an added layer of safety and preparedness for the families I care for.

I'm currently completing my Postpartum Doula certification through Birth Arts International, a program that emphasizes holistic, evidence-based support. I’m also working toward certifications in:

  • Childbirth Education

  • Lactation Education

  • Birth Doula Support

  • Bereavement and Loss Care

These programs reflect my commitment to offering well-rounded, heart-centered care throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period.

At home, I’m blessed with four wonderful children and the most supportive husband. They are the reason I do this work and serves as the inspiration behind every family I serve.

Whether you're preparing to give birth, healing after delivery, or simply looking for grounded, non-judgmental support, I’m here to walk with you!!
