The Woven Nest Doula
Grace Vargas
Wife, mother, student and birth worker
I’m Grace! I’m a certified postpartum doula, a mother of four, and a passionate supporter of families as they welcome new life.
My own birth and postpartum experiences include loss, cesarean birth, VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean), and NICU time. These experiences have deeply shaped the kind of doula I am today: empathetic, grounded, and adaptable to each family’s unique needs.
With over 10 years of professional childcare experience and CPR/First Aid certification for both pediatric and adult care, I bring a blend of professional training and lived experience into every home I serve. I’m also continuing my education in childbirth, lactation, birth support, and bereavement care so I can offer families thoughtful, well-rounded support.
Whether you’re preparing for birth, navigating the very special postpartum season, or simply looking for compassionate, non-judgmental care, I would be honored to walk alongside you during this chapter.
Client Reviews
Grace came highly recommended by a mutual friend when my husband and I welcomed our twins almost four months ago, and I am so grateful. She truly has a natural way with babies. On the nights she cared for our twins, I felt complete relief knowing they were in such capable hands, and my husband and I were finally able to get much needed rest. Our nursery is right next to our bedroom, and I never woke up to crying or noise.
Beyond her excellent care, Grace was thoughtful and supportive during the postpartum period, often checking in on me and sharing helpful resources, something I deeply appreciated during a very challenging time. I noticed the house was a bit more tidy and bottles were washed, which I didn’t expect her to do! She is reliable, always punctual, and genuinely caring. I would highly recommend Grace to anyone looking for postpartum support or any kind of help with little ones.
— A.N.Grace has been a God-send. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Grace. From the moment she walked into our home, she brought a sense of calm, warmth, and reassurance that made such a difference in my postpartum experience. If you are considering a postpartum doula, I wholeheartedly recommend Grace to all those who are expecting or have given birth. She is compassionate, reliable, and truly dedicated to helping families thrive in those tender early weeks!
— L.H.Grace served my family as a postpartum doula in summer 2025. She did a wonderful job
helping me with tasks around the house, interacting with my toddler, and educating me about ways to adjust to my new family dynamic. She also shared some helpful ideas and resources with me. She does a great job demonstrating warmth and kindness without compromising on professionalism and attention to detail. Highly recommend!
